We believe in a more responsible future, and for this reason, we integrate the principles of the circular economy and environmental sustainability into our production.
Our continuous efforts to optimize our production and management processes have allowed us to obtain two important international certifications, concrete proof of the commitment we put in every day to ensure quality, safety, and respect for the environment.
Certified quality - ISO 9001
The ISO 9001 certification is the global reference standard for quality management systems. It recognizes that Baldiflex adopts structured, monitored processes oriented towards continuous improvement, aiming to offer reliable, high-performing products consistent with our customers' expectations. This approach enables us to promote an internal culture based on transparency, effectiveness, and error prevention, constantly raising our quality standards.
Certified environmental management - ISO 14001
The ISO 14001 certification attests to our commitment to environmental protection through an effective and responsible environmental management system. It means we have adopted a concrete approach to reducing the impact of our production activities: from waste management to efficient resource use, from emission reduction to pollution prevention. This allows us to combine environmental sustainability with the quality of our products, actively contributing to a greener economy.
A second life for mattresses
Every year, over 30 million mattresses are disposed of in the European Union alone. If stacked, they would reach a height 678 times higher than Mount Everest. As manufacturers, we feel responsible for reversing this trend. That is why we have chosen to integrate circular processes into our supply chain, giving new life to materials and meeting the needs of increasingly aware and sustainability-conscious consumers.
Our recycling process
It is estimated that up to 90% of the materials used to produce a mattress can be recovered. Baldiflex has embraced this philosophy, shaping a line of mattresses made with secondary raw materials. Recovering and enhancing what has already been produced is, for us, the smartest and most sustainable way to look to the future.
Sustainable packaging
Our packaging also respects the environment. We use boxes from a supply chain certified according to the FSC standard (Forest Stewardship Council – FSC-STD-40-004 v3.0), which guarantees the use of wood materials from forests managed sustainably, environmentally, socially, and economically.
Cuccioletti: giving value to scraps
Sustainability also involves reducing production waste. This is how Cuccioletti by Baldiflex was born: a project designed to reuse scraps generated during mattress production and transform them into high-quality pet beds. An initiative that reduces waste and, at the same time, offers maximum comfort to our four-legged friends — always under the banner of made in Italy.
